This course provides a basic background in conservation biology principles to help you become a more effective conservation advocate and steward.Participants will discuss the meaning of these terms at many biological levels and landscape scales, as well as current approaches to conservation biology.Learn what makes species vulnerable to extinction, and strategies and tools for protecting them.Participants will receive an extensive bibliography of resources for further study. Bring a bag lunch.
