Comedian Greg Boggis Features At Amazing Open Comedy Mique Show

Comedian Greg Boggis presents his unique and laid-back views on current events. A performer who gigs and is acclaimed all over America, Greg stops in Framingham for this fun summer night of comedy.
With his own laid back blend of current events, interesting observations, crowd-work and all around fun approach toward life, Greg has been appearing at clubs, colleges, benefits, corporate shows and more. He is often seen performing in TV commercials too.
Greg states, "From the time I was a young boy… Show more I was destined to be a comedian.
It started at a family gathering when I took the stage and told my first joke: "Why did the little mouse play the big guitar? Because he wanted to get attention".
Sure, the joke sucked, but the technique was right on the mark."
Thus began his comedy odyssey of a life dedicated to humor and provoking laughter in others.
Greg became a fan of all kinds of comedy and was influenced by many different people. Some of the major influences included the slapstick and social satire of the Three Stooges, the voices and critters in Warner Brothers cartoons, sketches and characters on the Carol Burnett Show, the ground-breaking sit-com All In The Family, the late night talk show master Johnny Carson, the British humor of Monty Python, the early Saturday Night Live, with a special nod the the maddeningly funny John Belushi, and also Bill Murray.
Since the mid 90's Greg has worked the New England comedy scene developing a reputation as hustler who can make people laugh. Robin Vaughn of the Boston Herald said he was a "likable personality", Stacy Milbouer of the Nashua Telegraph said that Greg will "leave 'em laughing," while veteran Boston comic Bob Seibel simply said, "Funny, funny, funny".
