Upsilon Tau Omega EYL Teen Dating Violence Awareness Walk

On Saturday, March 23, 2013, the Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will spearhead a walk to raise awareness about teen dating violence. We are requesting your Organization to join us in this walk and help us to bring awareness to teen dating violence.
The primary objectives of the walk are as follows:
Raise awareness about teen dating violence
Share information about resources pertaining to teen dating violence
Raise needed items for donations to local Prince Georges County… Show more Domestic Violence Programs.
We would ask that each walker obtain sponsorship in the form of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and gift cards that can be donated to a local Prince George's County domestic violence program, specifically for victims .
This effort is being organized by Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter as part of our Emerging Young Leaders Program. The Emerging Young Leaders program is the signature program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. whereby our chapter(s) provides leadership development workshops and activities to middle school girls.
