Kizomba Fever Workshop - Nov 16th, 2014 from 3-6pm
Kizomba is a beautiful dance that mixes musicality and connectivity. It is one of the most radily growing genres of dances in USA. The Kizomba music, dance and culture originated from Angola and was derived directly from semba and zouk. Kizomba is usually sung in Portuguese but many artist now sing in French and English.
João & Tatiana from Kizomba Fever will teach a 3hr workshop… Show more (3-6pm) starting with the basic beginner steps and technique, then introduce intermediate level steps with choreopgraphy and finish with progressive steps focusing on both lead/follow technique while partner dancing.
Small breaks will be given. Please bring water and light snacks with you.
This workshop is open to ALL levels. No experience is need. No partner is needed...but if possible we encourage you to bring a partner so there will be a more equal male:female ratio.
Kizomba Fever workshop is limited to 30 people (15 males & 15 females). Register early!
Kizomba Fever Social - Nov 16th, 2014 from 6-7pm
After the workshop, DJ Harvey will play the hottest Kizomba music from 6-7pm so you can enjoy 1hr of social dancing with everyone at the workshop as well as the instructors. Practice! Practice!! Practice!!! Social is included in the price of the workshop.
