“Fairy Doll”, originally “Die Puppenfee” by composer Josef Bayer and first performed in 1888, and was one of the most successful productions in the late 19th century. Issaev’s recreation and revival was a gift to the audiences of South Florida in 2009.“Bayer’s music is so inspiring and beautiful, I could not let his opportunity pass by," says Vladimir Issaev. The production counts on creative and imaginative costume designer Jorge Gallardo, and painter Elena Bond to bring these dolls to life!
