CHUCK WARDA
"Warda shows tremendous talent, ripping off solos with style and grace to spare ... an excellent display of talent and heart." -- Hartford Advocate
"...Insane or genius." -- Northeast Performer Mag
Through emotion, technical ability and dexterity of both guitar and keyboard, and through an expressive, powerful and soulful voice, and with creative use of modern technology, Chuck Warda is able to put on a performance that is both fun and entertaining, heartfelt and honest.
After graduating from The Hartford Conservatory of Music Chuck moved to Boston, where he studied at The New England Conservatory and The Longy School of Music. There he also played in the local clubs and on the street musician circuit. Moving back to the Hartford area he has been in a number of successful area bands. Including: Mass Conn Fusion, Lobsterz From Marz, The Only, The Gus Factor, Stiff Little Fish, It, Survivors, Shakedown, Out Of The Blue, Ice 9, etc.
Using a Boss Loopstation, Chuck is able to instantly record or "loop" phrases or lines played on either his guitar and/or keyboard. So by the end of the song it may sound like it was played by more than one musician or with the aid of pre-recorded music, but it wasn't. It is all done live by one musician, with nothing pre-recorded, using loops.
Also, in playing a variety of styles (jazz, blues, folk, funk, reggae, alternative, ambient, etc.), Chuck is able to express himself in many different ways, as well as adapt the show to a particular club or venue. This performance is a must see for any acoustic music fan!!!
