ViVa Mediterranean Tapas

Once an Italian restaurant, then a an Irish pub, and finally a Portuguese restaurant comparable to fine dinning in the city, Viva Martini is a diamond in the rough landscape of fast food chains, sandwich shops, and dim lit musky bars. The atmosphere is welcoming with its spacious dining hall and a bar that seems to disappear at the horizon. . Viva is an elegant restaurant by day and local hot spot by night. No matter what I am craving I can find it on the Viva menu. The menu consists of well crafted Portuguese dishes, like the Mariscada (a seafood medley and red sauce), with a splash of international tapas, such as hummus, tzatziki, and pita and Edamame Peas, on top of which you can order all of your bar favorites like burgers and cheese fries. There is almost and endless selections of beverages to wash down your dinner or afternoon snack. Portuguese vines are side by side with that form California and Australia. The beer selection is phenomenal. Chimay and Heineken on TAP! Need I say more? Don’t worry this isn't the kind of place where the bartender will smirk if order a miller light but he will certainly suggest one of their twelve specialty drafts. The liquor selection is above average with a number of choices in each category. As the sun goes down the music goes up.
