The Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum offers a glimpse into the life and pottery of E. A. Poe. Often confused with the poet, Fayetteville’s Poe was a businessman and community leader who manufactured bricks and pottery. His home is now a house museum, the 1897 Poe House, part of the Museum of the Cape Fear. Learn about the man who shaped the downtown landscape with his bricks and solidified his name in history with pottery. This exhibit will run through Sat., Apr. 20.
