Ephrata Cloister
Ephrata,
PA
Celebrate the birth of Pennsylvania with FREE ADMISSION to the Historic Ephrata Cloister on Sunday March 11 from noon - 5pm. In 1681 William Penn was granted a Charter for a piece of land in the New World. Here, he established what he called his "Holy Experiment" inviting people from all nations to live and worship freely. Ephrata Cloister is an outstanding example of the religious toleration available in this New World haven.
