Follow the Drinking Gourd Concert

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Englewood in celebration of Black History Month is presenting a special concert with a group called Follow the Drinking Gourd. They will be performing songs that show the power of African American music including "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho," "Basin Street Blues," and from Porgy and Bess "A Woman is a Sometime Thing" by composers like George Gershwin and Harold Arlen, as well as a syncopated ragtime piece by Claude Debussy
