Friday, Apr 27, 2012 8:00p
Bergen Performing Arts Center

Andrew Dice Clay made a career out of being the most outrageous comic of his time. Before Chappelle, before South Park, Dice was shocking audiences - breaking the rules with a never-before-seen style of hardcore comedy. His rise to fame was meteoric - with sold-out arenas, platinum albums, and starring roles in films and TV specials.
He calls himself the Rocky of Comedy, and now this heavyweight king of comedy is coming out of retirement to train for the greatest career move yet.

Andrew Dice Clay
In the late '80s, Andrew Dice Clay was the most notorious and controversial comic in the business. Foul-mouthed and abrasive, he was one in a long line of comedic performers whose material stretched the boundaries of decency and good taste to their breaking point; unlike pioneers including Lenny Bruce and George Carlin, however, Clay's routines did not evolve out of pointed social satire or trenchant political commentary, but merely a desire to be as lewd and shocking as humanly possible....

We paid $124.00 for two tickets on the first balcony. Feel sorry for those who paid more. The first comedian was on for 10 mins. Dice was on for 1/2 hour most. What an absolute rip off. I understand he was getting heckled by the crowd but hay...your a commedian buddy ... suck it up!!! I want my money back!!!

His raunchy style has not changed, his act was about what you'd expect, rude & crude in a Dice kind of way, which is good if you were fan enough to go. You got your fill in the 60 mins he was on stage. The opening act was pretty good...and the DiceMan?? Really...he's almost 50, I give him an E for effort.

Not sure why anyone is
Frankly too, he performs on film rather than acting. He's like a method actor that can't get in to any role but himself.
