The Browne Sisters and George Cavanaugh

George, Diane, Pamela, and Laura have been performing together for almost 20 years at concerts and festivals across the United States. Yes, they are actually sisters, and Geoge is their cousin. When he moved back to California, they realized they all loved the the same kind of music, and had learned many of the same songs. They worked on some tunes together, and ended up being asked on stage for the first time by the popular duo Men of Worth at the Bob Burns Restaurant in Woodland Hills, California.… Show more Years later, when they learned that the famous old restaurant was going to be torn down and replaced with a P.F. Changs, they decided to record their live album there, inviting the many loyal fans who had come out to see them play at the restaurant every Tuesday night for the past 10 years. They called the album Bringing Down The House. Several years, 7 children, and 6 CD's later, they still enjoy performing together at festivals across the country, and have been called the West Coast's First Family of Celtic Music. Last year they made their first trip ever to Ireland, along with Donnie and Jimmy of Men of Worth. They were happy to be singing in their ancestoral homeland, and were glad to throw in the crowds' request of a country song or two. They are currently working on their 7th CD, and hope to have it available by the end of 2008.
