Toast

Molly Abraham: After experimenting with dinner service for a few months, this appealing little spot has gone back to its original premise of breakfast and lunch. The sister/brother team of Regan Bloom and Matthew Kauer decided that their little cafe, decorated with vintage toasters, speaks more to a bacon and eggs menu than something more elaborate. Breakfast and lunch dishes include omelets with a variety of fillings, crepes with roast turkey or wild mushroom, burritos filled with beef, chicken or chorizo and Grand Marnier scented French toast as well as eggs Benedict. The bright little spot in Ferndale also offers alfresco seating on a small patio.
