Shukran for your patience while we worked on a way to provide shuttle service for our conference attendees that will be staying at the Sheraton and Double Tree hotels in Columbia, MD. Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to say that we will have shuttle service beginning on Friday, March 29th thru Sunday afternoon, March 31st. There will be a set schedule for run times to and from the Turf Valley Resort. There will be a flat fee of $25 (no PayPal fee) for the weekend… Show more for every person selecting this service. To ensure that we have sufficient personnel to accommodate everyone neeeding the service, advanced registration is required. Wcmas appreciates the support our travelling sisters have given throughout the years. Because there are no more rooms for our conference, we are investigating providing a shuttle service between the Turf, Sheraton and Hilton hotels in Columbia. The shuttles will be an additional cost for anyone using them. The shuttle service is not a guarantee at this date. InshaAllah we will let you know by Feb. 1 if there will be a shuttle service available and how you can register for the service. In the mean time we suggest that you carpool with sisters who will be staying at these alternate hotels.

Alhamdulillah sisters, it’s that time again. We graciously extend this invitation for you to spend a weekend with The Women’s Committee of Masjid As-Saffat and your Muslim sisters from around the world. We will celebrate thirty years of learning, sharing, and propagating Islam--thirty years of friendship, sisterhood, bonding, and socializing among Muslim women, Insha’Allah.
This year’s theme will venture into topics that all Muslim women can relate to, whether you are new to Islam, or one who has been practicing Islam for many years. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of informative workshops designed to increase our knowledge and iman, both of which are necessary if we are to evolve from a Muslimah to a Muminah to a Muhsinah. Our ultimate goal is to please Allah (Swta); therefore, we will discuss bestst practices, according to Qur’an and Sunnah, to achieve our goal.
We are pleased to announce that our conference will be held back at the beautiful Turf Valley Conference Center and Resort in Ellicott City, MD . Jumu’ah prayer will be held at the hotel. Our first session will be Friday evening along with our Meet and Greet, Insha’Allah. Our weekend will continue with day and evening activities on Saturday and a half day on Sunday. With the exception of Friday prayer, all events are for women only ( no children except nursing babies).
Please join the Women’s Committee in making du’a for this special anniversary celebration and for all of our guests who will travel to be with us, fisibilillah. May Allah grant you a safe journey to Ellicott City and allow us to gain benefit from this event. Ameen.

Youth Conference
We will be hosting our young sisters concurrently with the Women's Committee program, separate sessions will be conducted (attendees must be ages 12-19). Youth program also includes four meals, entertainment and swimming .
All Jr attendees must be 12 by August 7, 2013 and no older than 19.
