Cowgirl's Dream Western Swing Concert in Ellensburg

Starting with the time-worn tradition of western swing music, the Tacoma-based band was created with the debut of Kristi Nebel's album, DETOUR. Nebel brings her years of love in performing this music to her lead singing, with back-up harmonies and a few original songs from Steve Nebel. Toby Hanson, accordionist lends his skills along with the drumming from Tacoman Mike Friel. Says Kristi, “When recording my solo album we remained true to the tradition of western swing and found that that easily included songs composed by Johnny Mercer and Cole Porter as well as by Bob Wills and Hank Thompson.”
