On Q Club And Hennessy's Steak & Seafood

My husband and I went to Hennessy's Steak and Seafood for Valentine's Day. We had to wait for our table even with a reservation. We just had a drink and Chef personally apologized for the wait. The food was EXCELLENT and well worth the wait! I had the Lobster and Hennessy Medallions! The meal was the best that I have had in a very long time. My husband raved about his porterhouse. There were many things on the menu to choose from besides steak and seafood. I'd have to say though that this is an excellent steakhouse! Not to mention if there is a wait on Valentine's Day, that can ONLY mean it's good food! Also, I found out that above Hennessy's Steakhouse is Boogie Nights! I am so excited to have one close to my house! I remember going there in Schaumburg after work. This is definately goin to be my new hang out!

My wife and I went their on Valentines Day. The place was packed. From the time we arrived til the time we departed we were treated like royalty. The food and service was good. We will recommend this restaurant to everyone

My wife and I recently moved out to the far northwest suburbs from the inner city of Chicago and have now had to find new restaurants, (don’t you just hate finding new places once you have a good food grove in an area). I am not really big on writing reviews but as a steak lover I had to write about this place. Service was good, atmosphere was nice but the food was great. From the butter with the bread to the meal itself I was delightfully surprised.

I ordered Trio Medallions which came with three, each having a different crust. Peppercorn, garlic and gorgonzola. My favorite was the peppercorn. I will be back and this time I am going to go with the porterhouse with the peppercorn crust. no more messing around with medallions.

My wife had superior whitefish which was fresh, thankfully. We hate when a high end restaurant passes off frozen as fresh, she liked it allot (I am not a fish guy). She also raved about a salad they had there called the berry salad. That was also really good as I had a nibble.

If you’re looking for fine dining steakhouse seafood and near St. Charles/South Elgin/Barrington area you should give this place a go, it’s on Randall road so it’s easy to get too.

I will keep this review extremely simple. Don't do it to yourself, I am so embarrassed I brought my friends here. Let's get past how extremely dead they are on their band night and Ladies night. I mean literally 3 people. On the weekends they charge $20 at the door and I don't know where they justify this. Then upstairs, the bartenders are sneaking away to do shots with each other. The owner/chef got so hammered drunk one time he started throwing his drinks at the guests. Are you kidding me?!?!? The other owner/pool player had his hand up this girls skirt that couldn't even have been 20 years old. These guys throw hundreds at the females like they're at a strip club!! Classy? Not exactly. If you want to get an underage girl drunk and take her home, this is your place. For the non-perverse, stick to any of the other randall road bars. It won't cost $20 just to walk in.
