Celebrates Grand Opening with Concert and Family Fun at The Edge

October 28, 2010 (El Segundo, CA) – Get ready to dance, play and sing in an exciting new educational environment! With the recent opening of Wondertree Kids Discovery & Enrichment Studio in the The Edge district at Plaza El Segundo, babies, kids and parents now have a dynamic new place to learn and have fun in the South Bay.

“We are excited to offer families a creative new environment to experience fun and learning with their babies and young children,” said Nazmina Kheraj, owner and president of Wondertree Kids. “From music and sign language, to pre-school readiness, to formal music training, each class is professionally developed to enrich the lives of children through lively, age-appropriate activities and holistic experiences.”

Specializing in music and play-based enrichment classes, Wondertree Kids provides parents and children from birth to six-years-old, a non-competitive setting designed to foster early childhood enrichment, pre-school readiness, and formal music training in a fun, playful and safe environment. The new one-of a kind enrichment and discovery studio features experienced, enthusiastic educators, two separate age-appropriate studio rooms, an educational “wonder tree”, creative play area, and a retail area offering education toys and musical instruments.

The new Wondertree Kids Discovery & Enrichment Studio, located at 710 Allied Way in the The Edge district at Plaza El Segundo, will host a grand opening concert and celebration for young children and their families on October 30, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Participants will experience interactive children’s concerts performed by Jocelyn Kay Lee (professional children’s music singer) and Habla Blah Blah (professional Spanish children’s music group). Young children, babies and parents will enjoy a wide variety of experiences including singing, dancing/movement, sign language, drumming, arts and crafts, and FREE face painting and ballooning.

About Wondertree Kid’s Classes:
Several classes are available to meet the needs parents and children with a variety of interests: Music & Sign Language (birth – 18 months), Discovery & Play (birth – 18 months), Music & Movement (18 months - 4 years), Parent & Me Dance (18 months - 36 months), Wonder Art (18 months - 4 years old), Zoo Phonics (2 ½ - 4 years old), Wonder Camps (4 – 6 years old), and Group Piano (4 - 6 years old).
