The Liquidroom has provided Scotland's music fans with exclusive performances from once unheard of djs, for instance Danny Tenaglia and Carl Cox played their first ever Scottish gigs here ten years ago. With a consistently out-in-front music policy provided by the fiercely talented world class residents and pool of Edinburgh’s best up and coming djs, the club stands for the real sound of the underground. Priding itself on the unique family atmosphere that the place seems to exude, something that seems to be lost in today’s corporate run nightclubbing business. The Liquidroom technical sepcification boasts the best range of sound and lighting facilities in the Capital and a back-up team of in-house engineers and event managers that will ensure your event/club/gig will experience a superior approach. Having had the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Moby, Divine Comedy, Stereophonics, Travis and Coldplay play there debut Scottish performances here, to the all time greats such as The Average White Band,The Damned and Stiff Little Fingers that just can’t stop coming back for more. 2005 saw some fantastic performances from KT Tunstall, The Magic Numbers and The Kaiser Chiefs.
