Join the TCADP and local peace organizations to hear the powerful story of a former death row inmate. Mr. Melendez spent 17 years, 8 months, and 1 day on Florida’s death row for a crime he did not commit. He was exonerated and released from death row on January 3, 2002. At the time of his release, the State of Florida sent Mr. Melendez into the free world with a pair of pants, a shirt and $100.
The event will be held in the Social and Behavioral Science Building, Rm. 101
