Trent's Last Case

TRENT’S LAST CASE concerns Philip Trent,a writer and artist who is investigating the murder of an American living in England, Sigsbee Manderson. It is 1911. There are rumors that his younger wife was carrying on with John Marlowe, Manderson’s assistant. There is also a secretary, Celestine Bunner, who must be investigated. Trent goes to the estate with Burton Cupples, the Uncle of Manderson’s young wife, Mabel. It is not until the very end that the real vision of Manderson’s death is played out.
