Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation and Black History Month, the Historical Society of Easton hosts a lecture about the rocky path to emancipation on Saturday, February 9th at the Easton Public Library Community Room. David Koch, Asst Professor at Housatonic Community College is the guest lecturer.
Prof Koch will discuss the difficult experience of the 29th and 30th Regiments of CT in their fight for the cause of emanicpation.
