American Springback Ledger - Working Composite Model with Richard Horton
The American Springback ledger, standardized in the 1880's and used until the 1950's, is the tractor of accounting books. In this class you will be led through all the steps for making a hubbed 3-strap American springback bound in suede and leather. You should know how to pare leather on a Scharffix and work it into a book.
Tools needed include a book needle, bone folder, Teflon folder, hammer, book sewing weight, PVA brush, scissors, and bevelling knife.
