Close Look at Maple

Take a close look at maple trees, especially sugar maple. Learn how the Native Americans and early settlers made maple sugar. Find out how maple syrup is made from the sap of this tree. Taste maple sugar and pure maple syrup and compare with commercial imitations. Children can make a maple craft to take home. Ages: adults and children at least 3 years old.
