There are many stirring traditions during the Christmas season, but none as magical as the Holiday Pops. For a few short weeks, historic Symphony Hall becomes a feast for the eyes and ears. These family concerts include a children's sing-along, and parents can bring cameras to take photos of their children with Santa after the concert.
Norwegian singer Annie (born Anne Lilia Berge-Strand) is as pop as early Madonna or late Kylie Minogue, yet her hipster credibility puts her just as close to Saint Etienne or Miss Kittin.
