Tango at the Gardens
Enjoy an evening dancing to tango music played by DJs in the elegant Doris Duke Center. The dance will start with a beginner lesson at 7 p.m. with Tangophilia’s Jason Laughlin, which is free with admission and open to people of all ages (16+). The lesson will provide you with basic moves that will serve you all night. You don’t need any dance experience, nor exceptional grace or stamina, just enthusiasm. You may dress up or come in jeans, but please wear leather-soled shoes (no stilettos).
