Japanese Tea Gathering: First Voice of Spring
Join us for a moment of respite in the Duke Gardens teahouse, where you will experience the warmth of a Japanese tea gathering. Enjoy the aesthetics, poetry and serenity of this rich tradition over an enticing bowl of green tea and a Japanese confection. Guests will meet Nancy Hamilton, trained in the Urasenke Tradition of Tea, at the Doris Duke Center, then be escorted to the teahouse for these intimate gatherings. Two Sessions: 10:45am or 1:00pm. Parking included. Pre-registration required.
