Swing at the Gardens
Enjoy an evening dancing to classic swing music played by DJs in the elegant Doris Duke Center. The dance will begin with a one-hour beginner lesson at 7 p.m., which is free with admission and open to people of all ages (16+). You don’t need any dance experience, nor exceptional grace or stamina, nor even a partner, just enthusiasm. You may dress up or come in jeans, but please wear low-heeled leather-soled shoes to protect your knees and the floor. Free parking after 5 p.m.
