You are invited to participate in a fun day of exploring one of Marion County's most unspoiled hidden gems, the Rainbow River. Participants get to hike nature trails, take an optional canoe trip and engage in workshops about preserving and protecting one of the Department of Environmental Protection's designated "Florida Outstanding Waters." Space is limited. Pre-registration by May 8 is required to participate in this event. Includes lunch and refreshments. Optional canoe trip is 3-5 p.m.
