AVENTURA's New Album The Last Is Currently #1 On Billboard's "Top Latin Albums" Chart And Is The Only Album In The Last Three Years To Hold The Top Spot For 10 Consecutive Weeks
The Bronx-based Kings of Bachata Aventura are without question the Latin music success story of the year. Although not released until late June, their critically-praised new album The Last is already the best-selling Latin music album of 2009. Already producing two #1 singles, and with a third track now likewise rising on the charts, The Last debuted at #1 on both Billboard's "Top Latin Albums" chart and the iTunes Latino chart. Now, as summer comes to a close, The Last is still holding strong atop both those charts. In fact, AVENTURA's already double-platinum certified album has now notched Ten consecutive weeks at #1 on the "Top Latin Albums" chart - the first Latin album in three years to accomplish a #1 chart run of such duration.
Now, to celebrate the success of The Last with fans, Aventura are embarking on an impressive tour of prominent arenas across the country.

A New York-based Dominican boy band with roots deep in bachata? If that sounds unlikely, well, Aventura have managed to cope with it. The group was formed in 1994 in the Bronx by four boys (Anthony Santos, Lenny Santos, Max Santos, and Henry Santos Jeter) who were determined to break Dominican bacha
