The Helmet Project
Alabama artist Gary Chapman is best known for his large-scale portrait portayals, but in his latest exhibition at the Wiregrass Museum of Art is scaling back to make the ultimate impact. In 2010, Chapman was inspired by the idea for The Helmet Project after contemplating how society had changed following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
