Opera singer James Kryshak entertains with an exciting mix of music and dialogue showcasing the journey of the legendary American song writer. Stephen Foster created "folk" tunes that have become part of the popular genre and inspires new composers to keep writing today. The concert includes music from Stephen Foster ("OH! Suzanna); Lee Hoiby, Joni Mitchell, Natalie Merchant and Lori Laitman. Len Rhodes accompanies on piano. Proceeds benefit the Continental Divide Land Trust.

James, a native of Baldwinsville, NY, made his professional opera deut in 2008 as Don Ottavio in Raylynmor Opera's production of Mozart's Don Giovanni. James has performed at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Wolf Trap in Virginia and the Vienna State Opera in Austria.
