Kenney Chesney and friends come together in a tour that is about giving the new breed of country fan a full-tilt day of music that can truly define the summer.

It's not one, not two, but five different combinations to bring Kenny Chesney's 2008 Poets & Pirates Tour to 14 NFL stadiums across America. With a varying cast of musicians - picked for their intensity and ability to connect with a crowd - the Corona Extra-sponsored tour is about giving the new breed of country fan a full-tilt day of music that can truly define the summer.

Chesney's shows - known for the tailgating, cook-outs, touch football and Frisbee playing and general block party vibe long before the gates even open - are the ultimate good time. It has helped the singer/songwriter from Luttrell, Tenn., sell in excess of a million concert tickets for the last six summers - with 2007's Flip Flop Summer Tour being the second biggest tour behind the Police's reunion tour.

Contemporary country star Kenny Chesney didn't have the immediate breakout success that many of his peers enjoyed upon signing with major labels, but gradually built up a significant following via hard work, pop-friendly ballads, and a likable, average-guy persona.
LeAnn Rimes

Gary Allan hit the honky tonk circuit in his native Southern California at the seasoned age of 12. Playing in and out of the smoky, sweaty bars with his dad's band led Allan to follow in his father's footsteps and start his own band.
Keith Urban

Born in New Zealand, Keith Urban learned to play guitar as a six-year-old in Australia, after a young woman asked to place an ad in his dad's shop window offering guitar lessons. His parents made a deal with her that they would advertise in return for lessons for their young son.

Good ol' Country Boy!

Being from the south, I enjoy music which speaks to the heart. Every song which Kenny Chesney sings does just that. He just has that down-home attitude which makes his music very believable. "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problems" is one of my favorites! Only Kenny could sing a song about a "tractor" being sexy!

I just saw him for the first time and i am blown away....i was just a "normal" fan before, but now i am over the top. It is has changed me, just knowing he is in recovery and hearing the hope and faith in his songs inspires me to continue my journey of recovery. Thank You Keith for your inspiration.
