The 5th Annual Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival, "Baconpocalypse Now: I love the smell of bacon in the morning" will be held at the Varied Industries Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds. With plans to accomodate 4,000 bacon lovers in 2012 the event will move to the larger space at the Fairgrounds.
