The History of Future Folk

Saturday, Jul 6, 2013 12:00p
SIE FilmCenter Denver, CO

Winner of Best Screenplay at Fantastic Fest and the Audience Award at the Friars Club Comedy Film Festival, the film chronicles (and possibly exaggerates) the origin of the real-life alien bluegrass band, Future Folk. Initially sent from the planet Hondo to eradicate mankind, General Trius (Nils d’Aulaire) and the mighty Kevin (Jay Klaitz), are enchanted by the mystical human invention known as “music.” They abandon their mission and attempt to prevent the intergalactic takeover of Earth.
