A discussion by one of the leading energy analysts in Wall Street, Geoff Jay of Janus Capital Group, to be moderated by Christian Garcia from Halliburton. Mr. Jay will provide his views on how the oil and gas industry will evolve in 2013 and beyond, which themes will dominate the energy landscape, and how the regulatory environment will influence the pace of activity. Additionally, there will be robust discussion on Wall Street’s decision making process on energy stocks. At the end of the discussion, the audience will be able to ask questions on these topics. This will be a dynamic session and presents a unique opportunity to understand how the energy analysts view the oil and gas industry.
Biography:
Geoff Jay is an equity research analyst, primarily focusing on energy securities. Mr. Jay also serves as team leader of the energy & utilities sector research team. Prior to joining Janus as a research analyst in July 2002, he was an analyst at Berger Funds, focusing his research on energy firms. He has also worked at Eastgate Management, an energy-only hedge fund. Mr. Jay received his bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Northwestern University. He has 14 years of financial industry experience.

Christian Garcia is Senior Vice President and Treasurer for Halliburton. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the Company’s capital structure, foreign exchange, risk management, pensions, investor
relations, and credit management. In 2011, Christian was awarded “IR Professional of the Year” by Institutional Investor magazine given to the top investor relations professional across all industries in the United States. Mr. Garcia has a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines and a master’s degree in business from Purdue University.
