Join us on March 16, 2013 at Ross-Barnum (10-12am) library to learn more about the craft of printing presented by Kyle Durrie and take home a print or two afterward!
Invented in China but popularized by Johannes Gutenberg in 1440, moveable type was like the internet for the 15th century, allowing widespread reproduction of printed materials like books, announcements, and advertising. Today, a printer with a mobile studio is traveling cross country showing the art of letterpress printing.
