After its last visit over three years ago with KOOZA, Cirque du Soleil returns to Denver with its signature blue-and-yellow Big Top! Amaluna will be premiering on July 18, 2013 at Pepsi Center Grounds and is directed by Diane Paulus, a renowned NY theatre director.
Amaluna is a fusion of the words ama, which refers to “mother” in many languages, and luna, which means “moon,” a symbol of femininity that evokes both the mother-daughter relationship & the idea of goddess/protector of the planet.
