Maestro Rajeev Taranath is one of India's leading masters of the sarod, the lyrical and richly textured relative of the lute. Accompanied by outstanding tabla artist Abhiman Kaushal, much sought after for his sensitive accompaniment and intense solo playing. Sarah Morielli, Associate Professor of World Music at DU, will supply the exquisite movement of classical Indian dance.
