This year marks the fourth anniversary of Rise Up! – a community-led event dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness, in recognition of National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Rise Up! takes place in a safe community setting with live entertainment, great food, and onsite rapid HIV testing. Open to all, we attract youth, communities of color, and women. This year’s featured performers: Santa Fe Indian School Spoken Word Team and Cihuatl Ce.
