WAKE

Buntport Theater Company collaboratively created WAKE, which is loosely based on The Tempest by Shakespear with Adam Stone, who is also creating the musical soundscape of the island. Using much of Shakespeare’s text, they have re-imagined the lives of the characters, who are stuck in a loop, waiting for Shakespeare’s plot to begin while simultaneously acting the plot out to pass the time. WAKE transports you to a small island, the only world that most of the inhabitants have ever known.
