Urban Agriculture Tour With Slow Food Denver - September

Denver Botanic Gardens, Grow Local Colorado and Slow Food Denver invite you to learn more about the wonderful sustainable agriculture projects that are happening right here in our city! Join us for our urban agriculture tours to meet some of the people who are growing our food, learn about their projects and enjoy a delicious local lunch.

Ekar Farm ~ Ekar is a non-profit communal urban farm on 2 acres in Denver Colorado, inspired by Jewish values and dedicated to building community through environmental and experiential education, growing sustainably produced vegetables and increasing access to wholesome food for those in need.
Sprout City Farms ~ Sprout City Farms cultivates urban farms on underutilized land, rooting community farms in the city and bringing good food to neighborhoods. Their farm at the Denver Green School produces food for the school cafeteria and the surrounding community.
DeLaney Community Farm ~ A project of Denver Urban Gardens, in partnership with the City of Aurora, DeLaney is organized as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm easily accessible to the residents of Metro Denver
All tours will start and end at Denver Botanic Gardens. Locations subject to change. Travel Details will be emailed out one week prior to the event.
