Speaker info: Amy Friedman is the Executive Director of Book Trust. Book Trust is a non-profit organization that uniquely delivers unbounded choice and ownership of books to children in poverty, increasing their literacy skills and fostering life-long learning. Book Trust raises funds so that children who otherwise could not afford to do so, can choose and own $7 worth of books a month through Scholastic Book Clubs.
