University of Denver's Historic Chamberlin Observatory

Historic Chamberlin Observatory houses the 20-inch Alvan Clark / Saegmuller refracting telescope, an extensive astronomical library, meeting and classroom space, educational displays and scientific artifacts. The observatory has been in continuous operation by the University of Denver since July 1894. It is used by the University of Denver for educational and research purposes. Monthly Open Houses and twice-weekly Public Nights in the observatory are hosted by the Denver Astronomical Society.
