Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret stretches luxuriously beneath one of Denver's most recognized icons: the historic Daniels and Fisher Tower. While the nightclub is new to the scene, the Clocktower has been standing watch over the heart of Denver for almost a hundred years.
The first "skyscraper" in Denver's skyline, the D&F Tower was built in 1910, and measures 375 feet from street to the top of the flagpole. Modeled after Venice's famous Campanile in the Piazza San Marco, the Clocktower is an excellent example of the architectural style of the Italian Rennaissance.
The Daniels and Fisher Dry Goods Store was part of the Tower when it was first built, and occupied all of 16th Street between Arapahoe and Lawrence. In addition to serving the needs of the bustling downtown community, the store kindly accommodated the hundreds of visitors who wanted to stare in awe at the "Purple Mountains Majesty" from the Tower's 21st Floor.
Listed in the National, Colorado, and Denver Historic Registers, the D&F Tower is a timeless classic... and the perfect home for Lannie's.
