Miss Phi Beta Sigma Scholarship Pageant

Over the recent years, students at the University have limited amount of options to gain scholarship money. They also do not get to experience, high quality pageants like many other schools because there is so few of them. The lack of scholarship pageants causes many students to be forced to apply for general, academically focused scholarships. We will host an entertaining yet fulfilling program to fill this void on campus. This programs theme will be titled A Blue Carpet Affair "A night of Pure… Show more Beauty and Sophistication"â€*. The Miss Phi Beta Sigma Pageant will be a scholarship pageant catered to the women of the University of North Texas. They will compete in a variety of categories and the top three contestants will be awarded scholarship money. The goal of this program for us as a chapter is to show students that Greek Letter Organizations can host and publicize a quality scholarship pageant, and provide students with financial assistance. Miss Phi Beta Sigma Pageant will be broken up into separate categories for the contestants to compete against. At the end, a winner will be crowed “Miss Phi Beta Sigmaâ€* and receive the scholarship award from the chapter. We will also award a second and third place prize, along with award.
