North Texas Fossil Day

North Texas Fossil Day, which is the University of North Texas' observance of National Fossil Day, will feature displays of prehistoric fish fossils and other archeological finds, a fossil identification table, a children's fossil dig, guest speakers, and planetarium shows. The fossils on display include that of an Xiphactinus Audex fish discovered in 2010 in Denton County, and fossils of an Enchodus and Saurodon fish discovered this past summer in Prosper.
