Chosen to host the 2013 Masters 10K Championship. This is the world famous 30 year old fine arts running event incorporating actors on a 6.2 mile course reading from the works of the race's namesake on the historic streets of Dedham, MA. The event is dedicated to literary freedom and human rights. It features a 3.5 mile walk for Dana-Farber, as well as a children's run on the lawn of the Endicott Estate. It is very well known for the post race concert featuring the Dennis Brennan Band.
