Introduction To Oil Painting - Color Theory

Three-session course explores basics of Oil Painting with materials used in Color Theory. We’ll be working in miniature (2” x 3” or 4” x 6”) as these small, miniature “thumbnail” paintings will assist with shape and color placement, composition layout and establishing the “mood” of the painting. We’ll look at color harmony, warm and cool color palettes, color mixing and choosing the proper colors for a painting.
