Calder Quartet (Program I)
The Calder Quartet drew initial inspiration from the American artist Alexander Calder, and has always strived to perform with the composer’s intention always in mind. They have premiered countless works, and themselves premiered more than 25 works to date, and have spanned classical and contemporary genres—from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl.
