An evening of klezmer with Veretski Pass

Klezmer music of historical Eastern Europe on original instruments; melodies from Ukraine, Carpathian-Ruthenia, Bessarabia and Rumania. Much of this rare music was taken from field recordings by the musicians themselves on site. With its colorful instrumentation and unique arrangements, Veretski Pass carries on the ancient tradition of klezmer, playing music of all kinds with a recognizable Jewish sound.
